Creating Business Strategies to Address Challenges in the VUCA Era

In today’s volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous (VUCA) era, many challenges need to be addressed throughout the supply chain. Kurita’s approach involves formulating business strategies by working backward from the uncertain future. The company collaborates with other businesses to enhance customer value through continuous innovation. Kurita will be presenting a case study on a new business strategy developed in response to changes in the external environment.

Energy-saving solutions for refrigeration systems

Refrigeration systems tend to lose energy over time as a result of the accumulation of scale and dirt inside them which leads to a decrease in cooling efficiency, resulting in higher electricity costs. To address this issue, Kurita is conducting a webinar to present energy-saving solutions for refrigeration systems.

Kurita’s solutions to Conserve Energy in Boiler Systems

Reducing the cost of fuel and lowering CO2 emissions have become urgent issues in the manufacturing industry. Energy conservation is becoming increasingly important, particularly in boilers that consume a significant amount of energy. During this webinar, Kurita will introduce energy-saving solutions, such as DReeM Polymer, a chemical that effectively removes scale and prevents adhesion, and Kurita Dropwise Condensation Technology, which creates a water-repellent film.

Labor-saving by using IoT in water treatment

The manufacturing industry is experiencing a challenge due to the shortage of equipment operation personnel. To address this issue, they need to adopt operational management practices that require fewer personnel. Kurita is conducting a webinar to introduce a new pure water supply service that can be remotely monitored, helping to save labor and reduce costs in pure water production.

Using IoT technology in wastewater treatment

Wastewater treatment is a necessary process that requires the maintenance of factory production activities and compliance with environmental standards, but in recent years there has been an increasing trend towards cost reduction and labor saving. In this webinar, Kurita introduces a service that simultaneously reduces costs, stabilizes treated water quality, and saves labour in operation management by visualizing and automatically controlling the aggregation status using sensors.

The main mission of the Kilian Jornet Foundation is the preservation of mountains and their environment.

Although mountain environments are different throughout the world, they share many of the same problems as they are very vulnerable natural areas. Our goal is to work towards a durable, solid and long-lasting cooperative engagement and collective action in order to preserve mountain environments.

Study the properties of water, master them, and we will create an environment in which nature and humanity are in harmony
